Welcome
Archives and Records Management Services (ARMS) is located within the Registrar’s Office. We are responsible for ensuring that the University’s official records are captured and managed in a way that improves business processes and fulfils legislative requirements laid out in the University’s Record Keeping Plan. We also work hard to help staff apply the University’s Information Management Principles to all corporate information.” We provide advice and training to all staff on how to effectively manage both paper and electronic records and on how to operate the University’s official records management system TRIM. We also provide a reference service to the University’s archival holdings, which is open to university staff and the general public. Students seeking copies of their academic transcript or a statement of qualification can do so from the Student Administration website. Members of the public wishing to verify the qualifications/awards of a graduate can do so via UWA's Award Verification Service. New staff may also wish to take a look at our Staff Induction to Record Keeping.
For more information on what we do, see Advice Sheet 8 – The Role of Archives and Records Management Services, or contact us directly. |
