These short sessions are designed to give you relevant and practical information about records management that will assist you to work with information more efficiently and effectively.  You can also contact us directly to arrange one-on-one training sessions for TRIM, general record keeping and archiving.

Record Keeping Awareness Training (RAT)

RAT is an on-line training course that will tell you lots of very important information about your record keeping responsibilities as an employee of the University.

The entire course consists of two modules which can be undertaken over a series of sittings or all at once.  From start to finish the whole package only takes about an hour to complete and because it’s online you can take the course at your own pace at times that suit you. Click here to find out more about RAT and how to enrol in the course.

TRIM Training

TRIM training is available to all staff when they first set up a TRIM account. Training usually takes about 30 to 45 minutes (or 60 to 90 mins for users of electronic records), where the TRIM Systems Administrator works through a basic introduction to TRIM at the new user's workstation. Training sessions are always relaxed, and we work at the speed of the user. Group training sessions are also provided on request.

For further information on TRIM training sessions, please visit our TRIM Training page.
