TRIM UPGRADE

Due to unforeseeable circumstances, TRIM will NOT be upgraded as scheduled (15th September 2008). A problem was discovered through ARMS and ITS rigorous TRIM testing and this new version can not be rolled out without the risk of causing direct problems to client machines. Consequently, the TRIM 6R2 upgrade has been postponed.

We sincerely apologise for this inconvenience.

We will keep you posted with all the upgrade news via this webpage, so stay tuned!

UWA has been using TRIM version 5.2.3 since 2004 and it is starting to show its age. TRIM has evolved over the last few years and TRIM 6R2, which is the latest release, has some improved functionality and sports a new, better looking front end.

ARMS will be conducting a series of TRIM training sessions for new and existing TRIM users, so make sure you come along so that you can take advantage of all the ways 6R2 will save you time. We'll be announcing training dates and times on this webpage shortly.

Must everyone attend a training session?

If you are a user of electronic records in TRIM then we recommend that you attend a session as there are some changes in the new version that we would love to share with you.

If you use TRIM for managing paper records only, then you may not need a refresher session. However this is a great oportunity for you to brush up on your searching skills and ask us anything about TRIM that you may have been wondering about.
